We work with rehabbers across the country to develop nesting boxes and products to keep their animals safe and happy during the rehab and transition to the wild process. We put a lot of time and effort into each project we do. Because we are so small we do not keep most products in stock. Everything is made upon your order. Occasionally we will get backed up with orders, especially around baby season, if something should arise we will let you know. NAS reserves the right to cancel any order at our sole discretion, under a situation where we are not able to meet the requirement of the order placed or order so placed/cancelled does not comply with the our policy or for any other reason. All monies will be refunded at the time of cancellation. |
| Products are built and shipped within 3-14 days. Items are shipped Monday through Thursday. More intricate, customized items and painted items may take longer. We use 3/4" quality pine as our main medium. All custom work requires a non refundable deposit for materials. Shipping We use as much recycled shipping material as possible to keep shipping costs down. Larger items are shipped via UPS and smaller via USPS priority, parcel mail. All houses are shipped via UPS. No exceptions. |

I am super impressed with this seller. They were more than accommodating to my needs for what seems to be an exceedingly rare product- a BIRD PROOF *SQUIRREL* feeder. They modified their own design to help me and got this quality product with lightening speed (at least a lot faster than one would expect on handmade). My squirrel has taken to it with the understandable training period and so far, knock on wood, though the blue (scrub actually) jays have come to investigate, have been foiled to this point. Even more impressed, the seller was very thoughtful knowing this would sit on my patio and even gave it feet so it would never sit in water- something I didn't think of! | Nuts About Squirrels was created after helping a little one get to a rehabber. One little squirrel inspired us to create products for squirrels everywhere. We met rehabbers all over the country and decided that our mission was to help them help the squirrels and other wildlife in their care. This was achieved by donating funds, proceeds from items, creating fundraisers and creating products to raffle off at their events. NAS slowly went from a backyard hobby (literally, we worked under a tree for a year) to a full time job. In the beginning, we could only work weather permitting and were unable to do anything during the harsh winters. Through a series of incredible events we now have our own shop and work year around to help out our friends, both human and furry. |
